MediaZilla App Links Now On Invitations

Before, clients weren't always aware of the MZ streaming app, and were missing out on a superior viewing experience. We’ve now added badges with links to our app directly to email invitations for your recipients’ easy access.

Simplifying Client Account Creation & Project Possession

When clients take possession of a Digital Delivery, they sometimes create their account under a different email address than the one it was sent to and often would forget what email they set it up under. Additionally, Digital Delivery invites are sometimes forwarded to other recipients from the client before they even viewed themself. This led to projects being claimed by the client's recipients instead of the client.

Clients are now required to set up an account under the same email address the invite is sent to. If the client wants the project added to an account with a different email, they can request an invite be sent to that address. This process also serves as an email verification, removing the need for a separate verification email.

Ultimately, clients will be less likely to forget which email their account is associated with.

Digital Delivery Account Notifications

When you wrap up a project and send it out to clients, email inboxes can become a real headache from flagging invites as spam to accidental deletion by the client themself. The end result is the same: the client won't be able to take possession of the project. For companies delivering multiple projects to a single client, this process becomes even more tedious.

We've resolved this issue. Now, Digital Deliveries will push notifications into your client's MediaZilla dashboard. Even if your client creates an account after the invite is sent, the notification will still appear in their dashboard as soon as they sign in. For security purposes, clients will also be required to verify their email address before claiming a project through the notification.

Moving forward, clients won't need to depend on the Digital Delivery email invitation, but instead can take possession of a project directly from the dashboard notification.

For multiple project deliveries to the same client, accepting a Digital Delivery now automatically subscribes that client to all future deliveries from the same sender. The subsequent project deliveries will automatically be added to the client's account. Clients can unsubscribe at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What's new with app access in Digital Delivery invitations?
MediaZilla now includes app badges with direct links to the streaming app in email invitations, making it easy for clients to access the superior app viewing experience. Previously, clients weren't always aware the app existed, so now these badges promote easy app downloads and streaming.
Q2. How does the new account creation process prevent confusion?
Clients are now required to create accounts under the same email address as the invitation. If they need the project on a different email, they can request a new invite sent to that address. This process also serves as email verification, eliminating the need for a separate verification email and reducing account mix-ups.
Q3. What was the problem with invites being forwarded to others?
Before this update, clients sometimes forwarded invites to other recipients before viewing them, which caused those recipients to claim the project instead of the original client. The new same-email requirement prevents this issue and ensures projects go to the intended client.
Q4. How do dashboard notifications solve email delivery problems?
Digital Delivery notifications now appear directly in the client's dashboard, bypassing email inboxes where invites can be flagged as spam or accidentally deleted. Even if a client creates an account after the invite is sent, they'll see the notification when they log in, and can claim the project with email verification for security.
Q5. What happens when you send multiple projects to the same client?
After accepting the first Digital Delivery, clients are automatically subscribed to all future deliveries from the same sender. Subsequent projects automatically appear in their account, eliminating repetitive invite emails. Clients can unsubscribe anytime if they prefer manual invitations.
